Don’t wait until the last minute to learn about the company itself, its history, its values, and the various projects it undertakes. The more you know about the company, the more it will appreciate your interest and invest in your success. Don’t hesitate to do some online research and ask your network if they are familiar with the services your internship location offers, even if they are unrelated to your assigned department.<\/span><\/p>\n

Get ready<\/span><\/h2>\n

Review your coursework and refresh your knowledge relevant to your future profession. Arriving with a solid foundation of skills and knowledge, despite limited professional experience, will encourage your employer and internship supervisor to grant you greater autonomy in the tasks you undertake.
